"Awesome Internet Service"
Switched from a regular Internet service to Pine Media because they offered a better deal and quicker speeds, especially since I'm located in the heart of Sheffield. They really came through, getting everything installed and ready on the day I picked, and the speeds are way better than what I had before, all for just an extra couple of quid a month. If you're in Sheffield city center, this is definitely the provider to go with. Super pleased with the service, so big thanks!

"Functions great after setup"
Functions great after setup. There was a holdup during installation since they required taller ladders for the front of the house. Sadly, the disconnection of our BT line wasn’t postponed, leaving us without internet for five days. Not much they could do about it once it was switched off. Otherwise, I’d rate them 4 stars.

"Straightforward, reliable, and easy to deal with."
That pretty much sums up my experience. All the details were laid out for me to grasp beforehand, they showed up on time, and collaborated with me to determine the best spot to set up the services in my place. I thought my location would be tricky to service, and they did have to step out for a day to grab the right tools, but they were quick and honest about it, keeping me updated the whole time.

Since the installation, I haven't experienced a single outage that I could attribute to Pine Media. It's been rock solid up to now, and I'm really hoping it stays that way!

"Great customer support without the sales fluff"
I've only interacted with the customer service crew so far, since all purchases happen online, meaning no pushy sales talk—just genuine, useful guidance! Johnny was super friendly, courteous, and really went out of his way to help. He got my issue right away, pointed me to the correct website, and assisted me with the setup and contract details. Plus, he even managed to move my appointment to a time that worked better for me. Honestly, I couldn't ask for more!

Now, I just have to tackle canceling my old Sky contract, which we all know is gonna be a total hassle compared to this.

"Heads-Up on Installation and Hardware"
We got Pine Media broadband set up in December 2022, and it took a couple of days to get everything sorted because of a faulty piece of gear. The engineer had to swing by again the next day to finish the job. The internet speed and reliability have been fantastic, and the customer service is top-notch. But there are a few things we wish we had known before and during the installation. First off, having a Pine Media connection means you'll have boxes mounted on both your internal and external walls, plus they’ll need to drill a hole to connect everything. Also, the Plume router goes straight into a wall socket and only has two ethernet ports, with one already used to link it to the wall box. For us, that meant we had to grab a 'switch' (a small gadget with several ethernet ports) and a new extension lead to fit the new Pine Media setup along with all our other devices (TV, Hive, DVD player, Roku). Basically, Pine Media takes up two plug sockets and gives you just one ethernet port, unlike the 4-6 ports I had with my old routers. It’s a bit of a letdown that we weren’t clued in on this ahead of time, leading us to spend extra time and cash to get everything up and running before we could actually enjoy our new internet service.

Awesome company to work with. They got us an installation date super fast and arrived right on the dot. The engineers were friendly and really listened to what we needed. When we had an issue, I called them up and they picked up in just two rings—no automated nonsense or call center, just a guy in Sheffield who fixed the problem. It’s a breath of fresh air to work with them. Fantastic price, excellent product, and top-notch customer service.

"Top-notch service"
We just moved into a new apartment in Sheffield where Pine Media operates, and we decided to go with their GIG 100 plan. Setting it up was a breeze since there was already a connection to Pine Media's network on the wall. We got the Plume wifi router and logged in using the password they provided earlier. Right away, we were enjoying the promised 100mbps speed, which has been rock solid for the last day. I’ve also managed to tweak the port forwarding settings easily through the app, so my devices can connect to different services without a hitch—I'm a pretty satisfied customer! Plus, the customer service has been fantastic, just what you hope for from a local ISP! Big thanks to Pine Media; keep doing the awesome work!

I just made the switch to Pine Media, ordered online, and had it set up the very next day! The engineer was super helpful, quick, and did a neat job. The internet speeds have been fantastic, and I'm really happy with it. The combo of Plume and Homepass® is awesome. Definitely recommend it!

"Great support - router took a bit longer to arrive"
Had a small hiccup with setting things up since the router was held up by the delivery service - this caused a few days of waiting before I could get online, even though the wiring was all set. However, unlike many other businesses, I could actually speak to a knowledgeable person, whether on the phone or through live chat. After two weeks, I'm really pleased with the service.

The entire process, from beginning to end, was just great. We chose Pine Media since they’re a local business in Sheffield. On the installation day, the two gentlemen showed up right on schedule and were super efficient and knowledgeable. I’d definitely suggest Pine Media to anyone!
